overview
Re-engage and strengthen the Alumni's bond with UNSW
The Alumni Digital Experience Program (ADX) was initiated to gain a clear understanding of the present and future alumni audience, their needs, and the types and levels of engagement they desire and expect from UNSW. Equipped with this insight, a validated digital experience could be defined that would exceed expectations of current and future alumni. By achieving this, it would align with the defined UNSW Alumni business strategy and key targets.
Process
The Boomworks Facilitated Discovery program was utilised to promote a human-centred design approach in exploring opportunities and concept options. This approach strategically delivers value through a Target State vision, which is aligned with a roadmap for digital experience delivery. Implementing the Facilitated Discovery Program approach was a strategic imperative aimed at enhancing the foundational UNSW web transformation model by increasing visibility to new ways of working and seamlessly integrating value-added services for the benefit of all stakeholders associated with UNSW.
Outcome
At the conclusion of this project the UNSW Alumni now have a deep understanding of their audience and users. They are equipped with valuable customer insights and aligned and prioritised UNSW stakeholder inputs which they can integrate directly into the future iterations of the Alumni Digital Experience. The Alumni has gained insight into their global standing and now have a clear roadmap for implementing an enhanced digital experience for the Alumni community.
