Boomworks Earns Eco Badges
Boomworks has once again engaged Carbon Planet (www.carbonplanet.com) to audit the company's greenhouse emissions for the 07/08 financial year.
"Carbon Planet's specialist audit and advisory team - led by PhD qualified engineers - uses the most up-to-date science to: Measure and build knowledge about an organisation's overall emissions; Manage carbon exposure by developing a comprehensive carbon management plan, and; Minimise carbon emissions via profitable carbon reduction strategies."
Based on the findings of the audit, Boomworks has offset its carbon emissions by purchasing (and surrendering) Forests NSW NGAC Carbon (www.carbonplanet.com/forestry_carbon_credits), achieving the Carbon Planet 'Carbon Managed' badge.
"This badge can be awarded to a client who is committed to or is currently offsetting their emissions via certified carbon credits."
